As part of the Izaak Walton membership we invite all to join in and help the conservation property looking its best. As you can imagine, maintaining 39 acres can be a lot for just a few key members, so we invite and encourage everyone to play a role in helping mother nature and all of the Ikes facilities well kept for generations to come. We will provide lunch, so come on down and lend a hand! We do have some supplied rakes and shovels, but also feel free to bring your own tools as well.

Join us as we gather for winter’s fire wood supply. From log splitting to stacking wood. Something for everyone to enjoy and participate in. A necessary part of conservation and preparation, we use the wood to build fires, saving electricity, and enjoy the beauty and warmth it provides, all winter long.

Celebrate the season with the Izaak Walton League Michigan chapter at our Annual Holiday Conservation Gathering. Join members and outdoor enthusiasts to reflect on protecting Michigan’s natural heritage. Enjoy refreshments, festive music, and learn about upcoming initiatives and volunteer projects.
